A voluntary group supporting families who educate their children outside of the mainstream system. The Home Education Centre has an ethos with the children's well being and educational development at the core of its thinking. It has a child centred approach, where children actively make decisions about their own learning and contribute to the way the centre is run. They develop their social skills through non-compulsory educational activities and workshops, which they request and which are facilitated utilising the skills and passions of parents.
